Created for the Musée Transitoire and loosely based on Barbet Schroeder's film Maîtresse (1975), the installation explores social expectations of gender and the desire to break free from them. It focuses on social pressure, and how this can encourage us to look for ways out, particularly in the sphere of sexuality, where these established roles can be overturned. The performative installation illustrates this moment of liberation in a sonic and primitive fusion with the machine, in which neither the artist nor the machine have predefined roles.

The Performance initiated the installation on October 19th 2023 at 21:00.
Contact and Electromagnetic mics, analog percussion synth and voice.
